I lost my wifi connection on one of my times (I have 2 of the same model hardware WT24-0001), the one I am having issues with has firmware version DEBUG0013 the one that works has firmware version 0017. Is there any way to update the firmware via Bluetooth? Why is here DEBUG firmware on the unit?

Hi, I've got a couple of jetson devkits and for some reason all the wifi cards seem to have the same mac address. I've googled for it and it sounds like this mac address may be a testing address. Did it come from the factory that way or was it a failed update? Can you tell me when the last update was pushed to this unit, I was working fine for weeks then it just started to have issues. The info for the one that is not connecting to wifi is: Last connected 9-8-18 MAC address: 44:67:55:40:41:46 Firmware: DEBUG-0013 Hardware: WT24-0001. SAILWHITESTAR That timer is still offline, the DEBUG in the firmware was just an oversight when it was sent to the assembly line. Have you tried power cycling the timer?

Until it connects we can’t update it and usually power cycling does get it back online, you shouldn’t have to do any reconfiguration unless you’ve changed your WiFi SSID or password. If power cycling doesn’t get it back online then we’ll have to create a support ticket for you and possibly replace it. Please try this and let us know how it goes. SAILWHITESTAR The reason we don’t use the app to update software is the timer only has a Bluetooth Low Energy chip, it’s not the same as a regular Bluetooth, it’s data transfer size is much smaller than regular BT and trying to update the firmware over BLE would take a very long time, (it can take as many as 10 minutes over WiFi even) and be extremely frustrating to have to keep your phone next to it for as long as it took to get the update to the timer.
