What questions do you have? I'll see if I come across the answers. This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) Neptune NJ USA Posted: 10:36 AM on 10.07.04 - Debra, Recently I had a problem getting programs to run correctly on my Mac machines after the system was reloaded for maintenance.

It was basically because of how the files were installed depending on what system software you were running at the time. For example I work 95% of the time out of OS X so it was this is where I installed Photoshop 7. However because the software we use to send our photos only runs under OS 9 this is where I spend the other 5% of time in respect to the Mac operating system. So one day I need to edit a photo using the same Photoshop I installed in X but I need it to run in OS 9. I tried to launch to software to be given an alert stating that the OS was missing some of the files necessary to run the program. This happened on most of the cross OS applications that I had.

I needed to install the same software, from the same CD, but on the 9 side to get it to work. Dragon nest sea for mac. So you just might have to install/reinstall the program in the OS you want to use it in. Could this be a problem for you?

Re Cell Phone: All you need is a cell phone, cell carrier that offers a data plan like Sprints PCS Vision or Verizon's Express Network types, a data cable, modem scripts to dial the phone and some very simple configuring of the internet connection tool built into the Mac OS. If you search this site there is a ton of reading on the subject. Cheers Tree This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) Neptune NJ USA Posted: 10:39 AM on 10.07.04 - Oh!

Silly I know but.you are running or trying to run OS X versions of the sofware yes? Tree This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) New York NY USA Posted: 10:47 AM on 10.07.04 - Hi Kate, what do you use to hook up the cell phone to the computer? Verizon told me they do not have anything for a MAC, that MAC wasn't interested but that doesn't seem to be true since you are one of several who is using a MAC with Verizon. Which phone do you have? Thanks This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) Santa Cruz CA United States Posted: 11:57 AM on 10.07.04 - Debra, Verizon sells a 'Mobile Office kit' which includes a cable that will work on both the pc and the mac.

The kit was $39.99 which is high for a measly cable. It also includes software for the PC which is meaningless to us. The cable model number is Motorola AAKN4011A.

I guess I should preface all this by telling you I am using the Motorola v60. I assume Verizon sells the same usb cable for the other phones they sell? Verizon doesn't support the Mac but they do sell the usb cable. You can download the drivers on the web.

I will know more about that in a few hours. This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) New York NY USA Posted: 1:25 PM on 10.07.04 - ok-I bought the mobile office kit last night and when I got home the CD says it's for Windows only. A call to their tech dept told me it is not for MAC (even though they said it was at verizon-DOH!) I have a phone they claim will work (a Verizon Samsung). When you find out which is the correct driver to download please let me know. I am on hold with Verizon now waiting to see what they say Debbie This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) Santa Cruz CA United States Posted: 4:41 PM on 10.07.04 - Well, Finally, I have a successful connection. I am using a different phone than you but I think these sites will help you get connected: / (this site is specifically about Samsung phones) / (you will have to register which is very basic) Look in the files section of this group (far left side of page) for drivers.

I had to try 3 different drivers before getting this thing to work. My Powerbook sees my phone as a v60p instead of a v60s. I am not sure what is causing this but at least I am connected. Let me know if you have any more questions. Depending on your carrier and phone, you should be good to go. This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) New York NY USA Posted: 10:13 PM on 10.12.04 - I have been trying for the last several days to find the driver for the MAC and a Samsung A310 phone. Joined the Yahoo mac group, searched Google.nada.

Is there ANYONE here that has a link (that works) to this driver that I can download? I am kind of desperate for it for Thursday.

I ordered the Phojo but it won't be here until Friday and the cable to connect my phone to it is on back order until the 20th or so. Any help would be MUCHO appreciated. Thanks Debbie This post is: (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) East Lansing MI USA Posted: 1:06 AM on 10.13.04 - The site Kate listed, under '(mirror),' works for me. BTW, I'm picking nits but it may help you find what you're looking for: you need a modem script not a 'driver' and even though what's at the link above is called 'VerizonWirelessSTDDriver' it is in fact a modem script.
