I've spent hours reading threads on tonymacx86 and stuff and I'm no closer now than I was at the start. When people say it's 'easy' - it fricking ain't. And it seems like any forum you go on and ask for help (which I haven't. Just from the threads i've read) basically all go cold / dead or tell people to Google for help. There needs to be better guides out there, seriously. I had four days of torture trying it that way and can stand it no more.
I had a more detailed reply but Reddit ate my reply. I had it working perfectly except for sound and then did the video or audio patch as in side bar and I got the white screen with eternal beach ball of death but this time I had placed the fakes can.kext in the EFI kexts 10.12 folder and I could not fix it.
Edit: I just saw your guide in the comments above. Seems like it might resolve headaches in the future.
